Residents from two Supported Living schemes in Nottingham took a trip to where the streets were paved with gold – at the action-packed pantomime Dick Whittington.
Jigsaw Support Midlands successfully applied for £1,090 in funding from Jigsaw Foundation to organise the outing to the Nottingham Playhouse for tenants at both Orchard Court and York Mews schemes.
Katherine Lewis, Jigsaw’s Supported Living Co-ordinator, said: “Thanks to the Jigsaw Foundation, our tenants had a brilliant time. They were able to go out on a group trip in the community for the first time since lockdown which has been great for building confidence and mental wellbeing for the tenants.”
