A Coronation Fit for a King

A Coronation Fit for a King

Residents across Jigsaw’s communities joined together to celebrate King Charles III’s Coronation in style.

At Moreland Court in Carlton, residents sang and danced to songs from the 1940s and through the years with singers from LLP events in Nottingham.

Colleagues and residents jointly paid towards a buffet, made by the catering team at the scheme, to help make it an event to remember.

Residents at supported schemes Orchard Court and York Mews in Nottingham enjoyed a buffet lunch, as did those at Newton Hub in Hyde, and our Housing for Over 55s scheme William Ford in Mottram, who also took part in a game of royal bingo.

Beatrix House Residents Association in Dukinfield organised an indoor street party for residents and families with £50 voucher provided by our neighbourhood engagement team to help with the event.

In Miles Platting, a coronation themed event was held at the community library with food, activities, face painting and a magician for families to enjoy.

It was organised by Jigsaw’s Neighbourhood Engagement Team Gemma Bennett and Julie McGlynn who also helped residents to sign up to the Jigsaw Rewards programme.
