Gedling Homes tenants with tenancy agreements that allow two rent-free weeks a year, will be pleased to hear the non-collection weeks commence on the 16 and 23 December 2019.
If you have kept up with your rent payments, there will be no rent collected during these two weeks. Please remember that if your rent account isn’t up to date, you are expected to continue making payments over these two weeks to help reduce your arrears or bring your account into credit.
If you pay your rent MONTHLY, you will not notice any difference. The two non-collection weeks have already been calculated over 12 months. So your monthly payments will remain the same throughout the year. Monthly rent payments should be paid in advance.
