Residents at Moreland Court and Carlton House in Carlton, Nottingham had an informative afternoon learning about their personal safety and home security.
Local community support officers Keith and Allan joined our resident’s coffee afternoon to discuss different ways they can keep safe in the community, alongside staying aware of different types of scams and parking or road issues.
Bell accessories were even given out for residents to use on their purses, wallets and handbags for extra security.
Jayne Reed, Jigsaw’s Independent Living Assistant, said: “It was a lively afternoon enjoyed by all, with lots of questions being asked by residents. Keith and Allan are keen to join us on a more regular basis for a cuppa which our residents thought was a great idea.”
